1. Who we are
Muralla Socials is a social media management tool operated by Muralla SpA, a company registered in Santiago, Chile. We manage the Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp presence of Muralla Café on behalf of its operators.

2. What data we collect
We collect and process the following data through Meta's APIs:
- Messenger messages: Content of messages sent to Muralla Café's Facebook Page, including sender ID and message text, for the purpose of responding to customer inquiries.
- Instagram Direct Messages: Content of DMs sent to Muralla Café's Instagram account, including sender ID and message text.
- Instagram comments and mentions: Public comments on our posts and mentions of our account, used to monitor and respond to customer feedback.
- WhatsApp messages: Messages sent to Muralla Café's WhatsApp Business number, used exclusively to respond to the same conversation.
- Page metadata: Basic information about the Facebook Page (name, ID, follower counts) used for operational management.
- Public profile information: Publicly available user profile data (name, profile photo) of people who interact with our accounts, as provided by Meta's API.
We do not collect financial information, government IDs, health data, or any data unrelated to customer communication through Meta platforms.
3. How we use your data
We use the data described above exclusively to:
- Respond to customer messages and inquiries in a timely manner
- Monitor mentions and comments to provide customer support
- Send transactional notifications (e.g., reservation confirmations, order updates) via WhatsApp
- Embed Muralla Café's social media content on its own website
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data sharing
Your data is only shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. as required by the Meta API to deliver messages and manage our social media accounts. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
All data processing by Meta is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
Message data is retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes (e.g., conversation history for customer support). After that period, messages are deleted from our systems. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data (see our Data Deletion page)
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure token storage. Access tokens from Meta are stored securely and never exposed publicly.
8. Children's privacy
Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
